| history |
Jeannie was born perfectly normal. She was a very happy child, who would play with the other kids on her block, and paint pictures, and do all of that other stuff that kids were supposed to do at her age. There was nothing particularly special about her, but she did have a way of drawing attention to herself. She was bright and bubbly, and had a cute little smile that would make people want to pinch her cheeks ( which she hated, but put up with because it seemed to make people happy ). But, at the age of 13, Jeannie was in a terrible car crash, which left her in a coma. Her parents were devastated, and the doctors said that there was a chance that she would never wake up. This didn't mean that Sean and Lisa were going to give up hope for their daughter. They came by her bed every night, holding her hand as they muttered. "I wish you would just wake up...please wake up...I wish you were better..." For 10 years they sat by her bed and watched her grow into a beautiful woman, continuously muttering that same phrase each time they came by. The doctors kept on telling them that they should let her go, that they were only torturing themselves by waiting. But, by some medical miracle, Jeannie opened her eyes one day. She blinked her eyes and looked around, only to see her Mom sitting there beside her. "I wish you would just wake up...I wish you were better..." The doctors were stunned. They kept checking their charts, saying that it was almost impossible for a girl to just...wake up! The first instinct her parents had was to ask what made her wake up. Jeannie merely gave them a tired smile and said this: "Well...you wished it!" From that day on, Jeannie thought that it was only right that she be fair and make everyone else’s wishes come true, because she saw how happy it had made her own parents! But this could also have something to do with the brain trauma that she had experienced from the crash. She felt invincible. And with the way everyone kept on praising her, she thought she was something special! She was one of a kind! She was magical. But, this got her into a lot of trouble. At first, her parents just thought she was acting weird because she was adjusting to things. A new body (a lot of things grow in 10 years), a new voice, a new life. She didn't sleep anymore, because she was afraid that if she would go to sleep again, she would not wake up again. She had to rebuild her muscles, and go through therapy, and then she would be just fine...until she went out to meet new people. Jeannie would freely tell people about her 'special abilities', not realizing that saying "I can make your wishes come true!" was not a normal way to start a conversation. It was only when she was asked to go to a party with a group of boys did things get really bad. They took Jeannie and had her stand in the middle of the room, and they would take turns making 'wishes', figuring out that the only way to get her to pay any attention to them was to hold onto her hand. Whoever did this would be her new 'master'. It started with stupid little things like "I wish for you to lick the floor", just to see if she would do it. And, she did. Then it started getting worse. "I wish for you to take off your clothes." And, she did. She was humiliated, but she did it. By the end of the night, Jeannie had done things that she didn't even know were possible. After all, she did only have the education of a 13 year old girl. The boys wished Jeannie home completely naked, and as she walked down the road, shivering and crying, her parents spotted her and dragged her inside. They asked what she had done, and she told them she couldn't tell them. When they asked why, she looked up with watery blue eyes and said: "They wished I wouldn't tell..." It was then that the Lampanelli's decided that they needed to get their daughter help. The best help they could get. So, they sent her to Chesire Crossings, hoping that she would get the help she needed to get well again. No, they wished for it. |
| storylines |
Aladdin: This person is Jeannie's love interest. She would do anything for this person, and is probably the only one who can get her to do something without making a wish. [Male] Magic Carpet: Definitely, without a doubt, Jeannie's best friend. She cares about this person a lot, and will try her hardest to protect him/her whenever she can. She feels like she's known this person for years, even if she's only known them for a few minutes. [Male/Female]; Abu: Jeannie is fond of this person, but he/she isn't a favorite. He/She is another person that Jeannie would protect, but not someone she would confide in, or go out of her way to please. [Male/Female] Princess Jasmine: Sigh. Jeannie likes her, but at the same time, she doesn't. She's always nice to her, and helps her out a lot, but secretly she's very jealous of this person. She thinks she's beautiful, and nice, and she always gets the boys. [Female] Rajah: Rajah is one person who can tolerate Jeannie's constant talking. This is one person who she likes to talk to because he/she just sits there and listens. This is also a person she can go to when she's feeling tired or calm, but doesn't want to be completely alone at the time. [Male/Female]; The Lamp: This is someone who make Jeannie feel trapped, and limited. She knows that this person is just trying to keep her safe, but she doesn't like that he/she holds her back from doing all she can do. [Male/Female] The Cave of Wonders: A very dear friend to Jeannie, but extremely protective of her. This person doesn't like people going near Jeannie unless he/she is sure that they won't hurt her or abuse her 'powers'. [Male/Female]; Jafar: Jeannie is afraid and intimidated by this person. She tries to treat him/her like she would anyone else, but she's obviously less peppy when she's around him/her. This person is also a little bit obsessed with Jeannie and her supposed 'powers'.The Tigger for; The Lude for; The Molly Walker for; |
